Tanya DePass Helps Raise Over $150,000 for The Bail Project

Tanya DePass, known as Cypheroftyr on Twitter, has helped raise over $150,000 for The Bail Project, which provides free bail assistance to low-income people. The effort is supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and the ongoing protests of police brutality on Black people. 

DePass is the founder and director of the Chicago-based, I Need Diverse Games, a not-for-profit foundation helping to diversify gaming. She is also the Diversity Liaison for GamerX. DePass is a writer, game critic, and often speaks on gaming, diversity, feminism, intersectionality. 

DePass had set a goal of $500 yesterday and had raised about $150,000 just ten hours later. At the time of publishing the campaign had raised $153,350.
