Candice Harris has joined BoardGameGeek. Harris has been writing for the popular website since January and was part of the GAMA Expo coverage in March. She has also appeared on the “Game Night,” a YouTube show produced by the site.
“She has been a valuable contributor, particularly at covering heavier games for BoardGameGeek News – something that is outside of Editor-in-Chief W. Eric Martin’s usual wheelhouse,” said owner Scott Alden.
Harris, a musician, lives in Los Angeles, where she is on hiatus from her band, Zookeeper’s Palace.
The announcement came a day after the website posted a statement saying that it was committed to more diverse voices and perspectives.
