The US will put on hold plans to impose additional tariffs on the $300 billion “List 4” goods from China, which included toys and tabletop gaming products. President Trump announced the suspension after a meeting this weekend with Chinese President Xi Jimping.
Both parties have agreed to continue to talk, but no dates have been set for further negotiations.
Trump said current tariffs will stay in place. The process for seeking product-specific exclusions for List 3 opened June 30 and are due September 30. Those exclusions will last for a year.
