Games Workshop Secures Operating Loan, Reopens Warehouse, Some Stores

Games Workshop have secured a six-month £25 million loan to help meet operational cash flow requirements if needed. The loan comes with a potential six month extension.

The company said revenue in the nine months through February was in line with expectations, but that the closure of global operations have impacted May profits. They predict their profit before tax for the year ending in May to be no less than £70 million.

The company will open warehouse operations in Europe and North America this week, and will start taking online orders on May 1. Pending orders will be shipped first. The company announced guidance on the opening to consumers today.

Retail stores have begun to open in China, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia. Other stores will open as local restrictions are lifted. Games Workshop closed all stores on March 24.
