OneBookShelf will phase out RPGNow in February, the site will redirect to DriveThruRPG. RPGNow was founded in 2001 by James Mathe and pioneered digital PDF downloads for role-playing game publishers. In 2006 it merged with DriveThruRPG. Since then the websites have been run as two different brands with the same content, products and users. The company said the growth of RPGNow had been declining in sales and traction, while DriveThruRPG has been growing year over year as the reason for the closure.
