Games Workshop announced an operating profit of about $51.6 million on sales of approximately $156 million for the first six months of the fiscal year ending December 2. It also declared a dividend of $0.38 per share to be paid in January.
The company said the results were in line with expectations for the year ending in June 2019, but acknowledged it was early in the financial year.
“These results show the Warhammer Hobby is in great shape in our core markets. We have built on the progress we made last year and the results are considerable given the backdrop of major projects; increasing factory capacity and ERP system implementation,” the company stated in a financial filing on Friday.
The company expects to release their half-yearly report for the six months to December 2, 2018 in January.
