Borderlands Games in Salem, Oregon Closes

Borderlands Games in Salem, Oregon closed last month after 23 years. The Statesman Journal reported on the closure.

The owners, Camille and Nate Jones told the Journal that a family health issue and the loss of a key supplier forced the closure.

In October, Borderlands employees filed complaints with the State after not being paid wages owed.

A GoFundMe campaign failed to raise enough money to save the store. The Joneses opened Borderlands a month after they married in 1995. They celebrated 20 years in 2015.
