Asmodee Digital partner LuckyHammers has shut down, laying off about 70 people. The Montreal video game studio was responsible for the digital versions of Terraforming Mars, Mansions of Madness and Onitama.

The company told GamesIndustry.biz the shutdown was for financial reasons. Lucky Hammer made investments in virtual reality development that didn’t pan out.

Asmodee Digital said the shutdown will not impact current and future releases.
